Photos: Flowerbeds

I took pictures in my yard today. These are mostly from the flowerbeds.
The flowerbeds are blooming in multiple colors.

Tulips are blooming in the tulip bed.

This is one of the peach tulips. I love the delicate watercolor shading.

These show different shades of pink.

The first of the Purissima Blonde Tulips is blooming. They have yellow streaks on the leaves and warm ivory blossoms.

The serviceberry tree is blooming. I only noticed it later in the day, so the lighting is bad.

This closeup shows the serviceberry blossoms.

The sun has just set in the west.

Date: 2024-04-01 08:57 am (UTC)I'm also really fond of the Shirley Tulip, which starts out white with a crisp purple edge, but over time, the color bleeds through more of the petals to make most of it pinkish or lavender.
