I took pictures in my yard today. These are mostly from the flowerbeds.
The flowerbeds are blooming in multiple colors.

Tulips are blooming in the tulip bed.

This is one of the peach tulips. I love the delicate watercolor shading.

These show different shades of pink.

The first of the Purissima Blonde Tulips is blooming. They have yellow streaks on the leaves and warm ivory blossoms.

The serviceberry tree is blooming. I only noticed it later in the day, so the lighting is bad.

This closeup shows the serviceberry blossoms.

The sun has just set in the west.

You absolutely need something that will not only blend but make surprises on the paper. Hmm, or silk-painting or batik, especially wet-on-wet. But oil or acrylic would give too much control.

There are multiple variations from bush to understory tree size. That one is a small tree. It puts out fruit that greatly resembles blueberries. I am lucky to get even a handful before the birds devour them. So I've been planting more in hopes of eventually saturating the market. They can't eat all the mulberries because the yard is full of them.
