The first flower is blooming here at Fieldhaven! :D

The view east over the house yard shows mostly brown with hints of green in the grass. I need to start cleaning up the yard.

Here is a wide view of the goddess garden (sans goddess statue). It almost disappears in the cold season, especially with the thymes covering the bricks. The statue won't go back out until considerably later in spring.

This pale lavender snow crocus is the first flower to bloom this year. Usually the winter aconite blooms first, or sometimes the miniature irises. Hmm, I should check the snowdrops, I forgot to do that.

From this angle you can see the stamens inside. If it were a sunny day, this thing would probably have half a dozen bees on it. I haven't seen any bees yet, but the first ones usually appear as wads of scuffling foragers knocking my crocus flat with their antics.

The tulip bed has lots of flowers sprouting, but they're only 1-2 inches tall and haven't bloomed yet. There are some crocuses in there, though. Soon I need to rake off the leaves and maybe spread some compost.

Tulips are sprouting. Most are still small like this.

I think I've got the same species. Here in E Tennessee I had one bloom last week....and then nothing. The Hellebores have buds so sometime net month,I mean in a couple of weeks I should have blossoms. Most things are just like yours, just breaking ground. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be able to clear more Winter killed stuff and add some more soil to most of my raised beds. 'Course, that means either digging up stuff now or filling the spaces around and doing so in April.
It's so nice to see Life returning;>!
Cheers,
Pat

Very nice to Spring arriving there! We still have icy snow to contend with, but today I saw the daffodils were up about 1/2” :o) Same deal with the leaves in the flower bed. I can’t rake much due to the ice patches.
