I took some pictures around the yard today. These are from the house yard and the south lot.

The first flower has opened on the bluebells. They normally bloom around May Day so this is more than a month early.

This Spring I got a couple of surprises. 3 yrs ago when I moved here to E TN I planted Spring Beauties and a couple species of Trillium. They didn't come up last year but last week I noticed both;>! Also, I noticed leaves that looked familiar in the carpark bed that also last week showed themselves to be Virginia Bluebells(I didn't Plant it;>).
We have 2 species of Violet here in my yard; the local Purple and White's that hitch-hiked in the plants I brought with me from NW Florida. Gave up this yr trying Sweet Violets....none lived more than a couple months.
Cheers,
Pat

Hostas are gorgeous but they always get ruined by slugs and snails in my garden.

My peonies look like yours, at the moment, and my grape hyacinth are in bloom too.

Thanks for sharing your photos, which are lovely.
