With all my containerized plants gone(well, most of them;>!) all that's left is that which is planted in the small edge beds around the patios. This has been the best yr EVER for daffodils. Normally I get a small vase full but this yr I got two medium ones! The local Violet species(unfortunately NOT fragrant) started with a couple plants in my backyard lawn and with care over the yrs they've spread EVERYWHERE;>! It looks like a fresh Snowfall in all the beds in back and spots in front.
There's signs of Blossoms on the 'Ugli' Tangerine in front, none on the Yuzu Lemon in the back. The lilies in the back are coming up nicely showing that there'll be one nice show this Summer.
I planted some annual flower seeds in the front courtyard bed just because I can't stand bare soil. Just Cleome, Zinnia and Marigold cultivars.
Cheers,
Pat

Sounds lovely! I had an unusually good year for daffodils too this year. Have you been giving them extra compost this year?

Oh shame! I was hoping it was something I could influence again :)
