The pot was big enough(it's in one the same size as my David Austin Rose has been in for the last 3 yrs), so that wasn't it. Since we're moving to N Virginia sometime after COVID, maybe it'll do better there. The Florida Panhandle's rough on a lot of Temperate plants;>.... Cheers, Pat
