16 roma tomato plants.

You can see how I ran drip irrigation lines along the tomato rows.

The plants are growing rapidly and since this picture, they have begun flowering. Today, I put in the tomato cages that will help them climb.

Roma tomatoes are great, I love them.

Roma tomatoes are heat tolerant and very productive. The plants become large bushes, and that garden plot develops almost its own microclimate.

Ooh, lovely! I've never managed to get Roma tomatoes to grow very well where I am. My tomatoes seem to take forever to grow and then only fruit at the end of the season...

My variety is very heat tolerant, and bears heavily, up until the first frost, which can be December.

I ran soaker hose all through the garden as well. It saves water and time.

These are solid 1/2" lines with a drip emitter at the base of each tomato plant.
