Landreth Seed Company, founded in 1784 and well-known for heirloom seeds, may go out of business

Here's their website, and here's where to order their 2012 seed catalog for just $5.

They've gotten a lot of support since the first article came out, but they could certainly use more.

They aren't out of the woods yet, but here's an updated they posed on their Facebook. Also, they have a Chipin widgit if you click on the seeds link on the side. I didn't want to order a catalogue since I'm overseas but was able to donate to help.

I think the company did the Googledoc thing, I don't know the first thing about it! LOL, only just joined FB to follow 2 local musicians because I keep missing when one band plays in my area and the other busks near work. So now I can maybe actually go listen to them when they're near me!

I'm confused, will ordering a catalog help them or add to their financial burden?

I went for the Chipin widget and just donated $10US. I figured there would be international postage for the catalogue to come to me and the donation straight out would help just as much. If you click on their "seeds" link in their site it should bring up the Chipin (which takes Paypal).

Or you could order seeds to help?
