Got a new camera recently and it's a bit of a drizzly day so...

A few more behind the cut.

Set
Am gardening on a Welsh mountainside terrace with a sea view, which I'm guessing means a lot of salt in the air (it certainly means a lot of wind). Gardening is a bit hit and miss up here. The fuschia died down in the winter snow and I wasn't sure it would come back. Fruit seems to struggle, herbs are doing well, roses intermittently do better than expected but the lupin keeps falling over! Marigolds will grow wild anywhere, no matter how many times you pull them up.
Next year, I'll probably be paying more attention to the "attracts slugs" warnings because I don't want to put pellets down.

Date: 2011-08-05 05:25 pm (UTC)My garden was full of snails and they kept eating my seedlings, so I had to put down poison this year. I used Sluggo (don't know if you have it in the UK) which seems to be less poisonous than a lot of other brands. Still got rid of the snails, though!
