My outdoor carnivorous are really among my easiest plants. the minibog is the easiest because other than making sure it stays damp, I don't even need to weed it like I do the main bog. If you've got a damp spot or a spot under an eave that you've been thinking about putting a rain garden in with full sun, I've seen people grow them up to zone 5 (US) without a problem.
