Ooo that is an interesting idea! I don't have anything myself for wood supplies, but I might see if my uncle has some extra stuff he will let me take for a DIY.
I had bad luck a few years ago with plum tomatoes. Really wet and then really cold season that caused a lot of rot. x.x I love canning though, so I do want to try it again sometime.
