Things are FINALLY cooling down here on the Florida Panhandle. Nights where occasionally the furnace kicks on in the wee hrs of the night. The Persimmons are nearing Ripe/Firm (it's a non-astringent cultivar) and the Perennial Ageratums are banks of blue clouds. The Summer Salvias are giving their last show and the Fall/Winter types are beginning to form buds. Today there were numerous Hummingbirds on the Heirloom Salvia 'Vanhoutii'. It's hard to believe the 4'x4' bush is the ancestor of those little bedding Salvias;>!

Cheers,
Pat
