Daffodils

Our daffodils are beginning to emerge! Today I got outside and raked away the leaves covering the flower bed, and tidied up around the pups’ graves.

It was a lovely beginning to March - temp was 50°F today, but it will be ~11°F in the morning.

I have the same coming up! Little bits of daffodils, tulips, hyacinth, crocus.

I should plant some bulbs around my dog's grave too.

It’s a loving sentiment that brightens the memories :o) And the deer don’t eat the daffodils!

I'm raking off my flowerbeds too. I've finished the rain garden and daffodil bed so far.

I had a Facebook memory on March 1st last with me working in the garden last year, clearing the asparagus beds. Right now there is still icy snow there!
