Potted indoor plants
The groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter for the Northern Hemisphere.
Today I repotted my indoor plants. Mostly I have African violets. I've been struggling with Chantaspring, a micro-mini, and am moving it to wick watering (despite me never doing wick water). I think the only reason I haven't lost this plantlet is it is the one still attached to the parent leaf. Cap from a broth container is the pot, an xacto blade is my shovel.

Thoughts
I am impressed. I can't grow those. I have, let's see, spider plants, jade plants, air ferns, aloe, and a few other things.
Re: Thoughts
My mom was reading her great-aunt's journals and found that she had grown African violets exclusively. Mom remembers the house having lots of plants, but she was a little kid and didn't remember/know what they were.
Re: Thoughts
If collecting plants makes you happy, go for it.
I am more haphazard with both houseplants and garden plants. But then again, I have Gaia throwing random things into my yard that I don't have to pay for. Cup plants. Elderberries. Wild grape vines. :D

Aww. That's a sweet story.
My grandmother grew African violets, but she was the only person we knew who could do that. Sadly none of them survived her by more than a month.
