Planting Day(s)
The garden is in!
Main garden- green beans, 2 bush cukes, tomatoes (12 Roma, 2 cherry, 1 beefsteak, 1 Rutgers), 8 bell peppers. Peas were planted earlier. All the Bonnie plants are in staked cages.
Side garden- 5 hills Jack O’Lantern pumpkins, 1 long, horseshoe-shaped row cukes, remainder of green beans package, and a random hill of summer squash. The cukes have a fence to (hopefully) trellis on.
Soaker hoses were laid out and buried along the rows. These are connected to an irrigation system of garden hoses with cut-offs, all leading from a water meter to measure flow.
One for fun- the garden shed.
