Thank you so much. :) I wound up taking a little trip yesterday to the nursery where I originally purchased it, and the girl I spoke with there also agreed that it sounds like it just got too much sun exposure. I feel awful that I didn't know better, but at least I know now and am working on pruning it back into better shape.
