Oh, that's what it's for! I did in fact use it for just that purpose yesterday while clearing my selected plot yesterday. No dandelions, but there were some things with damn long roots. *dig, grunt, yank, repeat*

My wife and I are going to the garden center this morning to buy plants and seed and some more things like gloves. Tomatoes high on the list. :)
