Oops, I meant to put south-east England (about ten miles from the centre of London, just on the periphery of the transport services); I think my mind tripped on being in south-west London, but put England in there instead.

I was certainly thinking of starting quite a few plants off in cell inserts/a propogator -- the basil and parsley I put in to a container and hoped that they grew, I'd rather splash out on some money for the inserts/a propogator and avoid too much waste on thinning plants.

I'll do my best to keep people updated -- unfortunately my veg patch looks like this at the moment, which is not exactly conductive to good plant growth :) Hopefully in about six months I should have some things planted and growing.
